We were commissioned with the task of renewing the classic all day dining restaurant at the celebrated Oberoi Amarvilas and infusing its legacy with contemporary ardor. The site located in a context of such historical importance offering unobstructed views of the Taj Mahal and the palatial interiors of the hotel demanded an intervention that respected its setting.
Walking down the steps into restaurant presents an inviting view of the space with a series of 16 feet high vaulted ceilings with aged brass bespoke chandeliers, flared column capitals, exquisite stone inlay floor and fluted wall panelling set against a royal blue backdrop with hand painted murals. Full height windows fill the pristine white restaurant with ample natural light shifting the interiors hues as the day passes.
Bellevue captures the essence of the exemplary context that it finds itself in and yet manages to remain progressive creating a distinguished experience for all guests.
